Srinidhi Ramesh Shetty (born 21 October 1992) is an Indian actress and model who predominantly works in Kannada and Tamil films. She is the winner of Miss Supranational 2016 pageant, becoming the second Indian woman to win the title. Early life and education Shetty was born in Kinnigoli, Mangalore, Karnataka, India. She belongs to a Tulu-speaking Bunt family. Her father, Ramesh Shetty, is a businessman, and her mother, Rashmi Shetty, is a homemaker. She has an elder sister, Shraddha Shetty. Shetty did her schooling at Sri Narayana Guru English Medium School and St. Aloysius Pre-University College, Mangalore. She then graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Jain University, Bangalore. Career Modeling Shetty started her career as a model in 2015. She won the titles of Miss Karnataka 2015, Miss Queen of Mangalore 2015, and Miss Beautiful Smile 2015. In 2016, she represented India at the Miss Supranational pageant and won the title, becoming the second Indian woman to win the crown. Acting Shetty made her acting debut in 2018 with the Kannada film K.G.F: Chapter 1, opposite Yash. The film was a critical and commercial success, and Shetty's performance was praised by critics.
